The programme, conducted on 30 July 2016, from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm, focussed on raising the awareness about the various options available to students after school, with special emphasis to law and management as a career.

The session was inaugurated by Hon. MP Dr. Shashi Tharoor, and he advised the students to follow their bliss and even told them his own story of choosing a career out of passion for the subject rather than following the herd. He concluded wishing every student all success in whatever they choose for themselves.

The session was followed by motivational talks by luminaries Mr. Varkiachan Pettah (General Manager-HR English Indian Clays Ltd), Mr Sanjeev Thomas (Center Director, Endeavor Careers), Ms. Raaga Maria (BA LLB (Hons), NUALS; LLM- Cornell Law School, USA(Currently pursuing)) and Dr. Martin Payyapilly (Motivational Speaker and Career Counsellor).

The students participated in an interesting game- Lawyer’s Hat, co-ordinated by Gauri J (Verbal Faculty, Endeavor Careers) and Gokul Menon (Legal Faculty, Endeavor Careers). The winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2500/-.

The session concluded with the students giving a feedback of the session. They unanimously said that Career Hunt 2 has been an interesting and enlightening session for them, and that they look forward to associate with any other session that would follow Career Hunt 2. Many of them found time to talk to the speakers of the day about their interests and career plans.
